Arboretum at UCSC The Arboretum specializes in low maintenance, non-invasive & drought tolerant plants from California, Australia, New Zealand & So. Africa. The gardens are open to the public for self-guided tours, and the Arboretum hosts educational tours, program and events; slideshows; and plant sales. Gardens are open 7 days, 9am – 5 pm and Norrie's Gift Shop is open 10am – 4 pm, 7 days. Admission to the gardens is currently by donation. Beginning July 1 '08, admission will be $5 for adults & $2 for children 6–17 yrs. Memberships are available!

California Bat Conservation Fund Each year, the Fund visits hundreds of schools, libraries, museums, and community centers to teach approximately 40,000 children, and their teachers and care givers, the truth about bats and their benefits to the human population.

Presentations consist of a short lecture, usually accompanied by a PowerPoint Presentation. Best of all, the Fund's educators are accompanied by a variety of live bats that can be seen and enjoyed up close.
California Landscape Contractors Association - Central Coast Chapter The CLCA is a non-profit trade organization of licensed landscape and landscape-related contractors. CLCA educates the consumer about unlicensed contractors and is an active force in statewide efforts to conserve water.
California Native Plant Society - Santa Cruz County Chapter CNPS is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to increasing understanding & appreciation of California's native plants and preserving them and their natural habitats for future generations. We will have lots of literature, books, posters and native plants for sale.
